The most common first complaint
On almost every adventure bike ever made, the standard screen suits one rider height and irritates everyone else. Buffeting — that pressure and noise around the helmet at motorway speed — is fatiguing on a long day and is the most frequent reason owners change something in the first month.
Why it is not simply "a bigger screen"
Buffeting is caused by turbulent air hitting the helmet, and a taller screen sometimes makes it worse by directing the disturbed airflow straight at your head. The variables are screen height, screen angle, your height, your riding position and your helmet.
This is why generic recommendations fail and owner reports of the same bike and similar height are worth so much more.
