Why this question has no simple answer
Voge builds families of motorcycles that share engines and components across model lines. That means some parts interchange freely — and it also means people assume interchangeability that does not exist, which is how the wrong part ends up fitted.
This thread is for establishing what genuinely fits what.
The safe starting principles
1. Same bike, different market name: everything interchanges. A DS525X and a Valico 525 DSX are the same motorcycle. There is no exception to this.
2. Shared engines mean shared engine parts, usually. The 581cc twin appears in more than one model — the DS625X and the R625, for example. Engine internals and many service parts will correspond. Ancillaries routed differently in different chassis may not.
3. Shared component suppliers do not mean shared parts. Voge fits Bosch ABS, KYB suspension and Nissin brakes across the range. That means quality and serviceability transfer between models. It does not mean the parts are identical.
4. Bodywork, luggage mounts and chassis parts rarely interchange between families, even where the styling looks similar.
Where people get it wrong
- Brake pads. Same caliper brand does not mean same pad. Always confirm against your model.
- Screens. Mounting points differ between model years within the same model.
- Luggage racks. Subframe mounting varies more than the styling suggests.
- Chain and sprockets. Sizes differ between models and sometimes between years.
- Filters. Often interchange within an engine family, but confirm the part number rather than assuming.

- Only post what you have actually fitted and used. Not what you think should fit, and not what someone told you.
- If you are unsure, say you are unsure. An honest maybe is useful. A confident guess is dangerous.
- For brakes, steering, suspension and anything load-bearing, be especially careful. A wrong recommendation in those areas is not a wasted afternoon.
Nobody is judged for asking. The whole point of this thread is that the information does not exist in one place anywhere else — so if you are unsure whether something fits, ask before you buy rather than after.
