Real invoices, not brochure estimates

Servicing cost is one of the numbers buyers cannot find anywhere before they commit — and one of the most-discussed topics among owners, particularly around how frequently services fall due.

Rather than argue about it, let's collect the invoices.

Things worth mentioning in your post

  • Whether you were quoted before the work or only invoiced after
  • Anything added that you had not agreed
  • Whether they had the parts in stock or had to order
  • Whether the service book was stamped correctly

One important caution

Do not post service intervals or fluid quantities from memory. Those figures come from your owner's manual for your specific model and year, and a wrong number in a public thread can cause real damage to someone else's engine.

Costs and experiences: yes, please. Technical specifications: only from the manual, and say which manual.

Buyers use this thread to work out whether they can afford the bike. The more real invoices it contains, the more useful it is — and the harder it becomes for anyone to be overcharged.
