What's better posted elsewhere
Technical problems that aren't specific to this region are better posted in the main technical sections. It's not a hard rule — the reason is simply that owners in Italy, Spain and Poland read those sections too, and one of them may already have solved it.
Anything for sale goes in Marketplace, not here.
A note on model names
The same motorcycle is sold under different names in different markets. In Italy and some European markets the adventure bikes wear the Valico badge — Valico 525 DSX is the DS525X. Identical machines, and every part interchanges. If you see a designation you don't recognise, just ask.
How we behave here
- On dealers: describe what happened, don't attack people. "Waited six weeks for a part and never got a call back" is useful. Personal abuse gets removed.
- Negative experiences with the bikes are welcome. Nothing is censored here — a forum where you only read praise is worth nothing to anyone.
- New riders get helped. Answering someone with "search first" isn't allowed.
