Four brands, one shortlist
If you are shopping in this price bracket you have almost certainly ended up comparing these four. We are not going to pretend we have ridden every model from every brand — instead, here is a framework for comparing them properly, and then we want your experience.
The comparison points that actually matter
1. Dealer network in your specific country. Not "in Europe" — in your country, ideally within an hour of home. This varies wildly between these four brands and between markets. It is the single most predictive factor for whether you will be happy in year three.
2. Parts logistics. Ask each dealer the same question: "If I need a clutch lever and a set of pads, how long?" Then ask an owner the same question. The answers often differ.
3. Component suppliers. Check what is actually fitted. On Voge, ABS is Bosch, suspension is KYB, brakes are Nissin. Do the same audit for the others — the spec sheet tells you more than the brochure copy.
4. A2 homologation. If this applies to you, check whether the bike is compliant as standard or restricted. Restricted bikes carry extra cost and paperwork.
5. Warranty terms in your market. These differ sharply. Voge in Spain launched the SR450X with a five-year warranty and first-year insurance as a promotion; other markets and brands offer considerably less. Read the actual terms, not the headline number.
6. Market presence. A brand that sells in volume in your country has more dealers, more parts, more independent mechanics who have seen one, and better residuals. For reference, Voge delivered close to 100,000 units globally in 2025 with more than half going to Europe, and has entered the top-selling brands in Italy and Spain.
What we are not going to tell you
We are not going to claim one is definitively better built than the others. That claim requires long-term data that does not exist yet for any of them — all four are recent arrivals in Europe at this scale.
