The sticker price is the smallest number
Voge's headline pricing is what draws most people in. But the purchase price is one line in a much longer sum, and the other lines are where brands separate themselves. This thread is for working out the real number — and then filling it in with actual owner data.
The costs nobody quotes you
Insurance. Varies enormously by country, by age, and by whether the bike is restricted. Get a quote before you commit to a model, not after. Some insurers price restricted bikes on unrestricted output.
Registration and taxes. Road tax, registration fees and periodic inspections differ by market and often by engine capacity. This is where the difference between a 494cc and a 581cc bike can cost you every year, not just once.
Servicing. Two things matter: how often, and how much per visit. Ask your dealer for a written schedule with prices before you buy. Service intervals on this brand have been a topic of discussion among owners, and it is better to know the number than to assume.
Consumables in year one. Chain and sprockets, tyres, pads, filters. On a new bike these are deferred, not avoided.
Depreciation. The hardest number to pin down, because there is not enough second-hand history for this brand yet. If you change bikes often, treat this as the largest single cost and budget conservatively.
Accessories. Almost nobody leaves an adventure bike standard. Luggage, protection, a screen and heated grips add up quickly. Decide what you actually need before you fall in love with a configurator.
Let's build the real numbers
Rather than guess, let's collect actual figures. If you own a Voge, post the following:
- Model, year and engine capacity
- Country and region
- Annual insurance premium and which company
- Annual road tax or equivalent
- Cost of your last service, and what was done
- Anything that has needed replacing and what it cost
The more entries this thread collects, the more useful it becomes to the next person deciding whether they can afford one. This is the sort of information that does not exist anywhere else for this brand — which is exactly why we should build it here.
Owner-reported figures. Costs vary by country, region and individual circumstances.
