Between the city and the motorway

The 250 class is the point where a scooter stops being purely urban transport and starts being able to leave town without a plan. It is also a bracket where the choice is narrower than in the 125 class, which makes owner reports more useful.

What to include

Code:
Year and mileage:
Country:
Licence category:
Typical journey:
What you came from:

What you like:
What you don't:
Anything that has gone wrong:
Would you buy it again?

Worth answering

  • Is it enough for faster roads, or does it feel like it is working?
  • If you moved up from a 125, was the difference worth the extra running cost?
  • Two-up — realistic or occasional only?
  • How does the insurance compare to the 125 class in your country? Sometimes the gap is smaller than people expect.
