What the R125S adds
The R125S runs a 124.8cc single producing 15 PS, and comes with traction control, an integrated dashcam and a Bluetooth LCD dash. A dashcam as standard on a learner bike is genuinely unusual — most riders fit one aftermarket, and it can matter a great deal after an incident.
It is also physically bigger. The S measures 2,020 mm long with a 1,375 mm wheelbase, 150 mm ground clearance, 141 kg kerb weight and a 790 mm seat height. Voge states that taller riders benefit from the increased dimensions over the base R125, with a more spacious and natural riding position.

How to decide
- If you are over about 180 cm, the larger dimensions of the S are probably worth the difference on their own.
- If you commute in traffic, the dashcam has real value. Fitting an equivalent aftermarket unit costs money and looks worse.
- If you are buying for a new rider, traction control is a reasonable thing to want.
- If budget is genuinely tight, the base R125 is the same fundamental bike and there is no shame in it.
