On a faired sport bike, most of the metal is hidden. On a retro or a cruiser, it is the entire point — exposed engine cases, spoked wheels, chrome, polished covers. Which means finish quality is not a cosmetic issue here, it is the ownership experience.
It is also the area where any new manufacturer gets scrutinised hardest, and where owner reports over time are worth more than any launch review.

- Washing after winter rides. Salt does more damage than mileage, and the damage is cumulative
- Anti-corrosion treatment applied before the first winter rather than after the first spots appear
- Drying properly rather than leaving it wet — including riding it dry after washing
- Covering it, but only when dry. A cover over a damp bike traps moisture and makes things worse
- Attending to small marks early before they spread
Why this thread matters
Voge has only been in European markets since 2019, so long-term finish data is genuinely scarce. If your bike has been through two or more winters, your post is rare and valuable. Photographs of both the good and the bad, please — a thread that only shows clean bikes is worthless.
