Why there is no single answer
Luggage fitment is the most-asked accessory question and the one most often answered wrongly. Mounting points differ between models, and sometimes between model years of the same model. A recommendation that worked for someone else's bike can leave you with a rack that does not line up.
So rather than a list that will be out of date in a season, here is the method — and below it, a place to record confirmed fitments.
Understand the three layers

The critical realisation: the case is the easy part. The mounting kit is what you need to get right, and it is what you should research first.
The method
1. Establish exactly which bike you have. Model, model year and market, from the registration document — not from the badge. Fitment lists are indexed by production period.
2. Check the major manufacturers' fitment lists. The main luggage manufacturers publish searchable fitment databases. If your model is listed, that is your answer.
3. If your model is not listed, which happens with newer models and less common markets, ask here before buying. Someone may have solved it.
4. Consider universal options. Soft luggage and strap-mounted throwovers avoid the fitment problem entirely, and for occasional use they are often the better answer.
Things people get wrong
- Weight limits. Both the rack and the subframe have limits. Exceeding them is a handling and structural problem, not a cosmetic one. Your manual states the maximum load
- Assuming similar models share mounts. They frequently do not
- Forgetting the pillion. Some top box mounts interfere with pillion comfort or access
- Handling changes. Weight high and behind the rear axle affects stability noticeably. Ride gently the first time out loaded
- Buying the case before the mount and discovering the mount does not exist for your bike
